Teaching a foreign language is a level above regular teaching. You need to know the local language, the foreign language, and most importantly, how to explain it in a manner that the student learns. And each student, learns differently. Noelia has these skills. We have been lucky to have had Noelia as a Spanish/Castilian teacher for over 7 years. She has taught my children from beginner level to AP Spanish level. Noelia was able to teach each child adapting her teaching skills for the learning method each child needed. She made it fun with creative games and art, and was consistently academic. My kids love her.

I wasn’t sure if my 7 year old was ready for an online Spanish class, given his inconsistent attitude toward zoom school and his total lack of previous experience with Spanish, but we decided to give it a try. Noelia’s energy as a person is so kind and attuned; her positivity and energy translate to the online medium so incredibly well. Her ability to keep my antsy 7 year old boy engaged and interested is some strange magic, but also not surprising given the thought and preparation she puts into each lesson with him.

She really thinks about what he would like and what would interest him and incorporates it into a low pressure learning environment where he thrives. Noelia has created and dropped extra materials and supplies at our house that are tailored for his lessons, and we are just blown away each week by the quality of her teaching
