A trial lesson is free and lasts 30 minutes. During this time we will meet through a videoconference to get to know each other, talk about your or your child's needs and objectives, and how I can help you achieve them. We will do an easy and fun activity that will help me to evaluate your level in Spanish and clear any question that you might have about online learning.

Lessons for adults are 60 minutes long while lessons for children are 30 or 45 minutes, it will depend on their attention span in front of a computer. Both are based on the interests and goals of the students, they are interactive, creative, and playful. The idea is that, progressively and according to the student's level, we will incorporate more and more Spanish working towards a total immersion. No rush at all! Your native language will be used when needed for a better understanding and flow of the lesson.

Lessons for children and adults are tailored to their unique needs and learning styles. Children's lessons focus on their age, cognitive, and emotional development. They include projects, songs, arts and crafts, and interactive games to make learning fun, build positive associations with Spanish, and foster meaningful progress.

Adults' lessons are designed around individual goals, with greater Spanish immersion, even for beginners. These lessons may include more conceptual and grammar-based approaches, depending on the learner’s style. Regardless of age, I always incorporate playful activities to bring joy and reinforce learning.

After reserving your lessons, we’ll arrange a day and time via email. I’ll provide a Zoom link for easy access to the virtual meeting. If you're new to Zoom, don’t worry—I’m happy to guide you through it. You will need:

- A computer
- Internet connexion (min. 2Mbps)
- A webcam (integrated or external),
- A microphone and speakers (headsets are highly recommended but not required), and 
- Access to an email and Zoom as a platform of communication.

Yes! The goal is that your child feels responsible for their learning while having a good time and that they gain self-confidence little by little in order to be autonomous. However, online learning might get a little technical at times. Collaboration between the teacher and the parent(s) is essential in order to ensure the student has access to all the equipment and material they need for an effective class. So, there's no need to be with your child in front of the screen, but please stick around in case they need some technical support.

Payments for the lessons can be done via Venmo, Zelle or PayPal. When you book your lesson via Calendly, I will send you an email explaining the methods of payment and how to find my profile on them in order to make the corresponding payment. Payments must be done in advance before any booking is finalized. Changes in the lessons can be done with 24 hours notice. A refund will not be issued after our first lesson.

Rescheduling or canceling a lesson is completely fine within a 24-hour advance notice. This will allow me to reorganize my working schedule and provide the best availability to my students. Changes made with less than 24 hours notice won't be granted (sorry!).

If you know that you are going to be a few minutes late, I would appreciate it if you let me know via email. I will accomodate the lessons if it is only a few minutes later, and if my schedule allows me to. If you don't show up in the lessons and I don't have any email from you letting me know that you are late, I will wait for 15 minutes and then I will have to cancel the lesson (**No refund or rescheduling**).

Please, let me know if you need to cancel the class, even if it is 1 hour before. There would be no refund if you don't notify 24 hours in advance, but I will really appreciate a kind notification so I can arrange the rest of my schedule. :)
